Holidays
We provide holiday time off with pay to regular full-time employees, classified as an employee who
works 30+ hours a week. Regular employees' holiday pay will be calculated on their straight- time pay
rate according to the number of hours they would normally have worked on that day.
A recognized holiday that falls on a Saturday will be observed on the preceding Friday. A
recognized holiday that falls on a Sunday will be observed on the following Monday.
If a recognized holiday falls during an eligible employee's paid absence (PTO), holiday pay will
be provided instead of the paid time off benefit that would otherwise have applied.
If eligible nonexempt employees work with pre-authorized supervisor approval on a recognized holiday,
they will receive holiday wages at one and one-half times their straight-time rate for the hours worked
on the holiday.
You must work or have approved PTO during the pay period to receive pay for a holiday.
