media, may be denied future access, and, if appropriate, be subject to corrective action up to and including
termination, within the limitations of any applicable federal, state or local laws.
Corrective Action
Diversified's own best interest lies in ensuring fair treatment of all employees and in making certain that corrective
actions are prompt, uniform and impartial. The major goal of any corrective action is to correct the problem,
prevent recurrence and prepare the employee for satisfactory service in the future.
Although employment with Diversified is based on mutual consent and both the employee and Diversified have
the right to terminate employment at will, with or without cause or advance notice, Diversified may take corrective
actions at its discretion.
Corrective action may include a verbal warning, written warning, suspension with or without pay, or termination of
employment—depending on the nature of the problem and the number of occurrences. There may be
circumstances when one or more steps are bypassed. Management reserves the right to determine, at its sole
discretion, the appropriate level of corrective action in any given situation.
