Foreword

        Welcome to the Body Transformation Challenge Eating Plans!


        In a nutshell, we created this book for you as follows:

              Your body is telling you that you need to look at a healthier lifestyle.
              Your doctor told you the same thing!
              Your spouse (male or female) is on your case about your expanding
               bum.
              You  have  some  serious  health  issues,  and  you  need  to  make  an
               emergency lifestyle change.
              You’re getting ready to look buff in your bikini or board shorts for
               next summer.

        This is written from a South African context with local ingredients, but it will
        work  for  any  human  being,  of  course  –  provided  that  you  can  understand
        English (and if not, fear not – we will teach you ). But please do keep an eye
        out for our range of books, designed for your neck of the woods – coming
        soon.

        Each recipe will ensure that you are eating between 1,200 and 1,400 calories
        a day (in total – all 3 meals, assuming you’ll be eating 3 in a day), so that you
        look and feel great.

        You  will  have  noticed  that  reference  is  constantly  made  to  “we”  as  the
        pronoun – that’s because even though I (Rob) have authored this book, it is
        the collective thinking of the all the brains behind these eating plans. As a
        way  of  engaging  you,  the  reader,  in  friendly  banter,  we  informally  slip
        between “we” and “I,” and although an editor or proof reader would kill Rob,
