A potluck dinner was held for the parish
on Sunday, December 8. The GCU Parish
Social Grant assisted with
purchasing candy for the
children and was used for
St. John all paper products for the
Byzantine Catholic Church event.

Parish Project Luncheon
On December 1, 2024, lunch was provided
for workers at the baking project that
benefited St. John Parish in Wilkes-Barre.
Everyone enjoyed subs from Wegman’s
sponsored by the GCU Parish Social Grant.
The Feast of St. Nicholas
St. Nicholas visited St. John parishioners
on Sunday, December 8. At the end of the
Divine Liturgy every everyone received
the gift of gold/chocolate coins from St.
Nicholas. Special thanks to GCU for their
Parish Social Grant program for helping St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church
sponsor the event.

Saint Nicholas Luncheon
Saint Nicholas Church held its
annual Saint Nicholas luncheon
thanks in part to the GCU Parish
Social Grant program, on Sunday,
December 8. All received a family
style meal and the children were
given small gifts and pictures were
taken with Saint Nicholas.
