St. Nicholas Play & Celebration
St. John Church held its Annual St. Nicholas
Celebration and Cookie Walk on December 8. The
celebration included a covered dish luncheon,
a children’s play and the Maintenance Fund
drawing. St. Nicholas made his annual visit after
the students’ Christmas play. The GCU Parish
Social Grant provided chocolate goodies for Saint
Nick and Father Nick to hand out to the students.
Families made donations of homemade cookies
for the Cookie Walk which benefited the ECF
School of Religion. Fran Petro and Alex
Riebe are co-coordinators of the ECF
