4.0  QUALITY MANAGEMENT

               At this time there is no formal Quality Management nominee in place and this function
               requires addressing.  The function itself is required to audit the Team's processes and
               procedures in order to ensure that the documents that the team are using to work to
               are up to date and authorised.

               The quality function is also tasked with ensuring that all items purchased for the team
               are of acceptable quality when delivered and Fit for Purpose. Quality function also
               audits the annual reports from the various Team officers prior to the AGM to ensure
               that all aspects have been reported in a satisfactory manner with due rigour.






               5.0  PERSONNEL


               Personnel is a loosely organised function at present, however in order to discharge
               the obligation that the 2008 act referring to Corporate Manslaughter (in England &
               Wales, Corporate Homicide in Scotland) the training, qualifications, experience and
               competence  of  all  individuals  within  the  team  must  be  recorded,  baselined  and
               archived.

               The roles within the team must be defined together with the attributes required to fulfil
               these roles, especially when allied to the practical aspects of crewing a rescue boat at
               a  race  meeting.  Other  roles  include  the  training  of  others  than  the  Osprey  Team
               members including powerboat drivers and other rescue teams' members.





               6.0  SAFETY MANAGEMENT


               Osprey Powerboat Rescue Team Limited is required to provide a management system
               for control of safety in the design, development, support and disposal of products and
               services. The means of achievement will vary but the effectiveness must be consistent
               with the following policy and requirements.

               Safety Management is now regarded as an essential part of any organisation and must
               be  planned  as  a  forward  looking  function,  i.e.  pro-active  and  not  reactive.  These
               adoption of a Safety Management System has shown that the Osprey Team have
               planned for the future and to be compliant with the legislative requirements placed on
               UK companies.


               Implementation  of  the  Product  Safety  Policy  within  Osprey is  achieved  by  placing
               requirements upon the Business Director to establish organisational and procedural
               elements that fulfil this Product Safety Policy within Surface Fleet Solutions.
