ANNUAL TASKS RESPONSIBILITY OF RELEVANT OFFICER.


        DOCTOR
        Vaccinations and Immunisations advice: keep an eye on proposed destinations for coming events
        (F1) and need for appropriate vacs/imms.
        Maintain Medical kits – orange and yellow boxes (National, Dunk and F1 boats) & Pharmacy Box
        Organises medical training – see ‘training.’
        Submits annual report to AGM.

        INVENTORY OF ITEMS/CONTENTS CURRENTLY IN MEDICAL BOXES SEE APPENDIX
        Pharmacy Box – grey Peli-box (F1 only)

        Maintained by medical officer – checked at least annually
        Usage – according to instructions
        Notify medical officer if anything used;
        MO will restock/reorder as required.

        Medical Orange Peli-Boxes.

        Maintained by MO – baseline annual check and restock.
        However more frequent checks made when possible by MO.
        Notify medical officer if anything used.

        Medical Yellow Peli-Boxes.
        Kit for use with long-board.
        Notify medical officer if anything used.

        Medical Orange Back-up Boxes.
        Contains spare medical kit including simple suturing kit as determined by MO.

        Cervical Collars.

        X2 per boat stored under rear boat box lid.

        Longboards

        One per boat (F1 and National) – one spare (F1).
        Wash off after use, dry a while but OK to go into their bags wet.
        Store in large blue ballistic nylon bags for transport between events.

        Fire Extinguishers.
        Responsibility of The race organisers both in F1 and UK National races.
        Ensure they are returned at the end of the race.
        In UK there is a responsibility on the Organiser to provide appropriate Fire Extinguishers and to site
        them in the appropriate places.
