Arabic Club activities:
(Grade 4-8) : An overview of the pollution problem through Puppet Show
(Grade 9-12): Awareness about breast cancer and its prevention
The students took part in the puppet show activity that was a
representative view of the pollution problem. Students spoke fluently. They
identified the causes of pollution and how to preserve the environment by
preventing pollution. The meet was interactive and the students’ listening,
speaking skills were developed. The students’ efforts were appreciated
under the guidance of teachers Mrs. Fathiya, Mrs. Sausan, and Mrs.
Mahasin.
Students of grade 9 – 12 created awareness on breast cancer and its
prevention. The students used power point presentation to present their
ideas. Students created awareness about the risk of this disease and how
to prevent it. The teachers in charge were Mrs. Raja Yousif, Mrs. Lemiya
and Mrs. Hemmat.
It was an interactive session where the speaking and listening skills were
developed. The students’ efforts were appreciated.

ISLAMIC CLUB

On 17 October 2019, the Islamic club conducted Extempore- speaking
about the Islamic Manners and Skit on Commemoration Day.
All students were present to enjoy and participate in their favorite club
activity.
A PPT was prepared that consisted of some interesting and informative
topics to speak about, and for juniors it was a video to watch on
Commemoration Day.
Students of grade 4 to 8 participated in both the activities and were
keen to speak on the given topic, on the spot. This activity was selected
to improve the language ability of students and to gather knowledge on
different topics, on the spot.
The students benefited greatly from the information given and this was
evident through their answers.
Each group described its views orally on the following topics like; Prayer,
Hajj, Hijaab, and Charity etc. The junior students were also shown a
video on the Commemoration Day. The students recalled and spoke about
the Commemoration Day programme -2018 and the importance of the
event in the UAE history. Teachers praised some of the heart touching
statements given by students.
