ART & CULTURAL CLUB



                                                                  ACTIVITIES AND OBJECTIVES:(Grade 4-8 & 9-12)





                                                                  (1)  AGAMOGRAPHS-  To  Create  a  work  of  art  that  shows  objects

                                                                  related to each other in some way in two different color schemes.





                                                                  (2)  SINGING  COMPETITION- To  display  the  talents  and  skills  by


                                                                  healthy competition which increases confidence and singing naturally is

                                                                  a mood booster.





                                                                  Students  of  ART  &  CULTURAL  club  assembled  in  their  allocated

                                                                  classrooms along with their teachers in charge. Students of grade 4 –


                                                                  12 creatively used different materials like charts, color pencils, color


                                                                  papers, paint brushes etc. to prepare various innovative stylize, flatten


                                                                  and simplify shapes of art called Agamographs  which usually has two

                                                                  different color schemes.  Extra details were added to the edges and


                                                                  corners for framing on interest. Layering of scale was done to create a


                                                                  sense of depth. Black outlines were used to separate many areas of color


                                                                  value.  Students  were  creative,  mindful  and  worked  sincerely.  They

                                                                  worked  in  groups  to  make  the  unique  designs  which  promoted  active


                                                                  learning, and developed critical-thinking, communication, and decision-


                                                                  making skills apart from creativity.




                                                                  Simultaneously  Singing  Competition  was  conducted  where  all  the


                                                                  students actively participated. The program began with a recitation of


                                                                  holy Quran by Ms. Khadeeja of Grade 8. Club President Ms. Abhinaya

                                                                  threw light on different types of Music around the world and their uses


                                                                  with  a  very  informative  PowerPoint  presentation.  This  was  carried


                                                                  forward with a number of beautiful traditional, classical, pop, modern,


                                                                  western singing performances. The performances were judged by two

                                                                  teachers and the best performances were rewarded.


                                                                  Ms.  Rizwana  of  Grade  11  took  a  singing  session  where  every  student


                                                                  actively took part and recited a melody. This activity brought students


                                                                  a blissful experience.

                      HAPPINESS & WELLBEING
                                CLUB
                                                                  The main objective of the Happiness and Wellbeing club is to experience
                                                                  Happiness &Wellness by  cultivating  a  clear  and  peaceful  mind.
                                                                  Explorations  on  the  meaning  of  psychological  well-being,  increasingly
                                                                  offer opportunities for participants with more social motivations to be
                                                                  involved in the club.
                                                                  “Talk to spread happiness”, program was held on 17  October 2019. All
                                                                                                                            th
                                                                  the participants enjoyed the program. Grade 4 to 7 students spoke about

                                                                  love and kindness. Their motivational talk was appreciable and inspiring

                                                                  to all club members.

                                                                  The topic given to the Students of grades 8 to 12 was about ‘Tolerance

                                                                  & Belief.’ Students interacted well and connected tolerance and belief.

                                                                  They also communicated the message of how to be happy in and out of

                                                                  the school campus.
