GRADE 1-3 REPORT (U.N.DAY)

GRADE 1

Primary students of GIHS took delight from the U.N. day
activity conducted on 24 th October 2019.The birthday GRADE 1
celebration of the organization provided them an
opportunity to reaffirm the commitment to the ideals of
the United Nations.

Different kinds of age appropriate activities were
conducted in the classes as the part of U.N. Day.

GRADE 1 –

CREATE A CARD ON ZERO HUNGER

GIHS organized the card creation activity for the students

of grade 1 to educate them on how they can take actions
to end the food insecurity in their home countries and help
towards zero hunger.

Activity began with (think, pair and share) the introduction
of United Nations and how it works in solving the problems

of different countries. After discussions, students were
asked to create a card on zero hunger to illustrate their
vision and their way of joining hands towards it.

It was evident from their reflections that the activity was
thought provoking and informative. They enjoyed the
activity profoundly.
