OCEAN CONSERVATION GRADE 10-B
10 B -A Drop Down Day is when students come off their academic
timetable and set up an atmosphere to learn different spheres of their
life and surroundings. They involve in different activities expanding
their understanding and the outlooks in various angles.
This time on September 8th, 2019, the Drop-Down Day was observed
with an objective to enlighten the importance of ecofriendly life. So,
the topic for grade 10 – B was “Ocean Conservation”.
The session started with the introduction & a group - discussion among
the students on the topic “Ocean doesn’t need us, but we need the
Ocean.” Students interacted in groups and came up with the valid points
on the importance of ocean conservation and the role of an individual in
preserving the boundless treasure of nature.
The causes for ocean pollution, the effects and aftermaths of the
unmindful act of human beings, the extend level of exploitation and the
measures to be taken to curtail the further damage were brought into
the limelight.
A Power Point Presentation was shared to visualize the damages caused
by human beings to the ocean creatures and its reflection on human.
Quiz was conducted to test their knowledge about the different
projects on ocean conservation and its implementation.
Students were divided into groups and they were involved in Posters
making, Slogans, Poem & Article writing. They had taken utmost interest
in presenting their concern in protecting the ocean life and expressed
their views and opinions in establishing a safe earth for all living
creatures.
