Ocean Conservation
10 A students’ Drop-Down Day topic was ‘Ocean
Conservation.’ Therefore, related to that, an interactive
discussion was done in the classroom. Later on exhibits and
charts were prepared by the students.
Students shared their ideas and showcased their views and ideas
about the importance of conserving oceans. Students discussed
the importance of conserving oceans thereby protecting marine
plants and animals and maintaining the balance of our nature.
During the first period the students watched some videos
related to ocean conservation and ways to conserve them, which
was highly informative.

During the 2 , 3 and 4 periods, students were asked to be in

group and they prepared charts and posters related to the topic.
The activity helped the students to work in groups to express
their ideas in the form of chart works related to the topic.
At the end, they took oath to promote healthy and safe ocean
ecosystems and to help prevent things that threaten oceanic and
human life. Drop-Down day provided students with the ability to
be equipped with life skills which extend beyond the classroom
learning, serving them to promote the overall health and well-
being of themselves and the whole nature.
