16.5.7 sharing of grades between and among faculty members, and
others with legitimate official need for academic
deliberations;
16.5.8 processing scholarship applications, grants and other forms
of financial assistance;
16.5.9 investigating incidents that relate to student behavior and
implementing disciplinary measures;
16.5.10 maintaining directories and alumni records;
16.5.11 compiling and generating reports for statistical and research
purposes;
16.5.12 providing services such as health, counseling, information
technology, library, sports/recreation, transportation,
parking, campus mobility, safety and security;
16.5.13 managing and controlling access to campus facilities and
equipment;
16.5.14 communicating official school announcements;
16.5.15 sharing marketing and promotional materials regarding
school-related functions, events, projects and activities;
16.5.16 soliciting participation in research and non-commercial
surveys;
16.5.17 recording of video conference classes and uploading it in a
school managed online storage for learning purposes
16.5.18 If the school intends to use personal information for
purposes other than legitimate interests of an academic
institution, it will first obtain a written consent for that
specific purpose. It can be processed without consent if it
is allowed under applicable laws.
16.6 The school shares personal information as permitted or required by law
to pursue legitimate interests of an educational institution including a
variety of academic, administrative, historical and statistical purposes.
16.7 Unless otherwise provided in appropriate protocols, the school will
retain the personal information indefinitely for historical and statistical
purposes. When a retention period is provided, all records after such
period will be securely disposed of.
