How Aflac Works
Aflac pays cash benefits directly to you and your family, as
well as cash for routine wellness exams each year. Plans are
voluntary and employees are responsible for the entire premi-
um cost. Premiums are payroll deducted on a pre-tax or post-
tax basis.
Accident
If you seek treatment due to an accident on or off the job for
you, your spouse or children, Aflac will pay you cash directly.
This is a great supplemental plan for families with children
playing sports!
Critical Illness
Provides cash benefits for events such as cancer, heart attack,
stroke, kidney failure, major organ transplant, bone marrow
transplant, sudden cardiac arrest, coronary artery bypass sur-
gery, non-invasive cancer and skin cancer.
Hospital Indemnity
Provides financial assistance to enhance your medical cover-
age. Plan benefits include hospital confinement, hospital ad-
mission, hospital intensive care and intermediate intensive
care step-down unit.
