an  opportunity  to  new  ideas  in  order  to  transform  conventional
            practices. Our main interest have been to provoke kids into love to
            reading and writing. In doing so, we have promoted their participation in
            workshops  and  university  events;  also,  in  Bibliored  (Colombian
            National Library Network) pedagogical activities and encounters with
            poets, writers and editors, having in mind a continuous and solidary
            construction of knowledge and culture.

            This year, the project celebrates its 4  anniversary, which is a landmark
            for pedagogical projects in the public schools in Bogotá. This sets out
            new  challenges  to  us.  Among  those  expectations,  we  have  the
            forthcoming publications: the digital text by the teacher Julio Estupiñan
            on physics and the Spanish Manual by the teacher Germán Gómez P.
            Moreover,  for  2015,  we  will  be  travelling  to  the  region  of  the  Eje
            Cafetero. This journey is organized by the Science Club and the Circle of
            Writing  Students:  Medio  Pan  y  un  Libro  EOH-IED  (Institución
            Educativa Distrital). We hope beautiful surprises! Why not … a poetry
            book, or a second deep and simple gazette, where the school principal
            finally inspired himself to write.
            Once more, I have to acknowledge students, parents, the school graduate
            students,  external  teachers  and  collaborators,  authors,  revisers  and
            reviewers' worthy contributions. They have provided their efforts to this
            creative and imaginative project. Thanks to all of you for believing,
            supporting, and contributing to this work. Overall, thanks for remaining
            in this integrative proposal and remember our motto: we are riding high!
            Finally, my invitation, again, to enjoy and to participate in the school
            publishing project, as a solid proposal that evidences an ethical and
            political engagement to the new generations and an social, inclusive,
            participatory, distinctive responsibility.

            Beyond my functions as the school principal, I am a teachers' colleague
            interested in taking great advantage of all possible opportunities in our
            school context.
