NOTE:
Even if the IID database will not be used to store measurement data
(measurement results will be tracked through Modbus, for example) a
database will still be required to configure the GuardII+.

6.2.2. Asset Setup
Once the asset is created in the database, filling in the details about the asset will provide
necessary information for a more complete data analysis, as well as help the software
determine appropriate settings for the monitor.

NOTE:
Different monitoring technologies will require different asset information;
refer to the appropriate technology User Manual for details.

6.2.3. Sensor Setup
Next add the sensors to the Asset that are needed for each installed monitoring
technology; refer to the appropriate technology User Manual for sensor setup details.

6.2.4. Attach Monitor

Once sensors are added to an asset, the GuardII+ needs to be attached.
• Select the Asset and press ‘Add Device’ on the icon bar.
