             Updates
             2010 Graduation ceremony
             On June 4th, the 12th graduation ceremony was held at the Hotel Kempinsky in
             Geneva. This year the keynote speakers were Emeka Anyaoku, former Secretary
             General of the Commonwealth and President of the WWF International from
             2002 to 2009, and Mr. Christian Wanner, cofounder and CEO of Leshop.Ch. Both
             speakers stressed the need for young graduates to become responsible citizens
             concerned with environmental issues and corporate governance.

              lUG to offer a DBA with Nottingham Trent University
             The International University in Geneva (lUG) signed at the beginning of the year a cooperation agreement with
             Nottingham Business School concerning the doctoral program. The Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA)
             is a part-time, 3-year study programme with a strong focus on managerial and professional practice.

             lUG maintains its ranking
             lUG continues to be ranked among the top business schools in Switzerland, according to the ranking of EDUNI-
             VERSAL. Mr. Eric Willumsen, President of lUG, attended in October 2010 the annual conference of EDUNIVER-
             SAL in Prague where he received the trophy awarded to the top business schools.


             Career counselling and career opportunities
             During the Winter term, the University arranged presentations by several companies from the finance and watch
             industries. Furthermore, a career day was held in March where the United Nations and its specialized agencies
             as well as non-governmental organizations presented their activities and potential employment opportunities.

             Charity fundraising
             The lUG Student Council collected funds to support the foundation Little Dreams by organizing several charitable
             events during 2010 and beginning of 2011. A check of CHF8000 was donated by the president of the Student
             Council to Orianne Collins, former wife of the pop singer Phil Collins and president of the foundation. The purpo-
             se of the Little Dreams foundation is to help young talents disabled or not, to fulfil their dreams in the artistic or
             sportive fields.

             Study tour in India
             During the Spring holiday , the Student Council organized a study tour to India to learn more about business
             opportunities in this rapidly expanding market. The visit started in New Delhi with lectures by the faculty of the
             Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, a partner institution of lUG.

             New Master in International Relations
             In September 2010 the University launched a new graduate program in International Relations. The Master in
