        My Travelogue, continued from page 39

        Nearby  is  Silbury  Hill  and  the  West  Kennet  long  barrow  (
        above).   Silbury Hill is a prehistoric artificial chalk mound built
        over 100 years ago,   around 2,300BC.

        November 2nd: There was so much more to explore but it was
        time to move on. I was headed to Bristol to visit two of my oldest
        friends.

        Tony and Julie have been  part of my life since 1974 when I moved
        to  Bristol  to  join  the  house  band  at  the  Hawthorns  Hotel.  We
        worked together for several years around Bristol and south Wales
        We  spent  our  time  together  as  old  friends  do,  catching  up  and
