Step I Before suspending payments, the Agericy must send aformal notification to the coordinator:
-
(a) irrtbrnring it of:
(i) its intention to suspend payments;

(ii) the reasons for suspension;

(iii) in the cases t'et-erred to in points (a) and (b) of Article 11.24.L l, the conditions that need
to be met fbr payments to resume; and

(b) inviting it to subrnit obseryations within 30 calendar days of receivingtheformal notiJication.
Step 2 - lfthe Agency does not receive observations or decides to pursue the procedure despite the
observations it has received, it must send aformal notiliccttion to the coordinator informing it oi
(a) the suspensiou of payments;

(b) the reasons for suspension;

(c) the final conditions under which payrnents may resume in the cases referred to in points (a)
and (b) of Alticle 11.24. | . I ;
(d) tl'te indicative date of cornpletion of the necessary verification in the case referred to in point
(c) of Article 11.24.1,1.

The coordirlator Inust irnmediately inform the other beneficiaries of the suspension. The

several beneficiaries only, any requests for payrnents and supporting documents relating to the
parlicipation of the concerned beneficiary or beneficiaries inthe action.

possible aftet' resumption of payrnents of may be included in the first fequest for payrnent due
following resumptiott of payments in accordance with the schedule laid down in Article I.4. I .
