Levels of Grace

Source and Channels of Grace

The grace you need to fulfil any divine mandate is always
given by the Lord. He is the Source of grace. But there can
be human and circumstantial channels through which the
grace comes into operation in His saints.

1. At Salvation
Grace flows into the life of a believer from that moment he
becomes born again and receives salvation. This is what
John the beloved highlighted in the opening chapter of the
gospel he wrote:

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave
the right to become children of God, to those who
believe in His name: who were born, not of blood,
nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,
but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt
among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of
the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and
truth...And of His fullness we have all received,
and grace for grace. For the law was given through
Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus
Christ” (John 1:12-14, 16-17).

Paul the apostle also explains this in his letter to the
Romans:
