GRACE, Exploring Its Riches
“But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if
indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if
anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not
His” (Romans 8:9).
Mind you, the grace of God imparted to the believer is
meant for service. After salvation every believer is called to
serve in one capacity or the other within the Body of Christ
in any earthly sphere, whether within the church or in the
marketplace. As a believer begins to render service in any
field of endeavour or influence the grace in his/her life
begins to find expression.
2. Diligent and Committed Service
When a believer engages in diligent and committed service
for God’s Kingdom in any field, such service becomes a
vehicle through which God supplies grace to please and
represent the Lord in that field of endeavour. A believer
who intentionally uses his business, career or enterprise to
serve as platform for diligent service to the Lord sets
himself up for more grace to be supplied into his life and
work.
3. Serving a Servant of God
The service to a servant of God is quite different from the
diligent and committed service rendered directly to God.
To serve under an anointed vessel of the Lord is considered
within the context of a local church where a believer stands
with his/her pastor to diligently carry out duties or
