Download the Career Planning Tool document template to help you
track your skills and work samples within key areas.

By tracking and listing your skills, you will be able to decide which
skills you want to promote to internship coordinators and employers
with your career portfolio. At the same time you are collecting infor-
mation, you will be creating your résumé.
Be sure to list all your experiences, whether they relate to dietetics
or not. Transferable skills are sometimes the hardest to identify
because you may do them in areas of your life where you aren't
thinking about performing a job. As you create your list of life experi-
ences, you will begin to identify your key skill areas.
