                                    FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES OF THE COMMUNITY
                                          EXTENSION SERVICES PERSONNEL

               The President

                    a.  Reviews the proposal and make a final decision for extension grant/funding;

                    b.  Endorse the activities, projects and programs to the BOT for the approval;
                    c.  Provides  leadership  in  creating  an  atmosphere  that  ensures  a  functional  and
                        productive Extension Service Program; and

                    d.  Supervise the Director of Community Extension Services for Extension Service in
                        planning, implementing and evaluating the extension service program.


               The Vice President for Academic Affairs

                     a.  Serve as the chairman of the Research and Extension Council in coordination with
                        the Research Director, Extension Director and Extension Coordinator, Deans, IGP
                        Coordinator, Linkages Director, SAO and Budget Officer;
                     b.  Implement,  monitor  and  evaluate  institutional  policies  and  plans  pertaining  to
                        extension services; and

                     c.  Perform other functions pertinent to extension service as may be necessary.
