He has promised to deliver us three ways: "our soul
from death, our eyes from tears, our feet from falling"
(Psalms 116:8).

8. Get Back to Simplicity
We need to go to bed uncomplicated. The Word says
God preserveth the simple. Not the feebleminded, but
those who trust God without complications. God de-
lights in giving rest to simple people who, with pure
minds, look only to Him for help and deliverance. Go
to bed as a "God fool" who believes Him before all
others as a way of escape.
God wants us to be comfortable with Him. Never
nervous, uptight—but relaxed and confident in His
presence. He wants to become so personal!y involved in
working for us that we will lean on Him during all
crosses and losses. Our God practices "divine discrimi-
nation"—that is, He is prejudiced in our favor. "Thy
blessing is upon thy people" (Psalms 3:8 KJV). That
should cause any believer to sleep in peace!
God is on duty at all hours—so lie down and claim
His great gift of sleep. It's yours! Ask, and you shall
receive.

Protected in Judgment



1. God Protects Me
The Psalmist cried, ". . . Thou art my God"
(Psalms 31:14 icjv).
You will always be afraid of judgment until you can
truthfully say, "God is mine—He protects me!" We
must be obsessed with this truth, or there can be no
