Israel had light in their dwellings."
• ". . . and there shall be a great cry throughout all
the land of Egypt . . . and all the firstborn shall
die . . . but against any of the children of Israel
shall not a dog move his tongue . . . that ye may
know that the Lord doth put a difference between
the Egyptians and Israelites."
God still puts a difference between the wicked and
the righteous.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to
obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.
(1 Thessalonians 5:9 KJV)
Much more then, being justified by his blood,
we shall be saved from wrath through him.
(Romans 5:9 xjv)
even Jesus, which delivered us from the
wrath to come.
(1 Thessalonians 1:10 KJV)
The prophet Malachi foresaw our day and predicted
God would stay true to His nature—swift judgment on the
wicked of the last generation and deliverance for the
godly.
But who may abide the day of his coming? and
who shall stand when he appeareth? . . . And I
will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a
swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the
adulterers, false swearers, oppressors, and those who
fear me not . . . Ye are cursed with a curse; for
ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
(Malachi 3:2,5,9)
And while God is sending judgment on drug abusers,
wife cheaters, liars, and agnostics, look at what He is
doing for those who prove Him:
