cession, violence, and corruption. And now we stand on
the brink of the same judgment that fell on Babylon.
Unless we truly repent, God will humble this nation, and
it will be left weak and frail just like all the other nations
that have forgotten God.
All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou
also become weak as we? art thou become like
unto us? . . For the Lord of hosts hath purposed,
and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched
out, and who shall turn it back?
(Isaiah 14:10,27 KJV)
It is true that God is everywhere. I do not believe in
a three-story universe with God and heaven upstairs,
the earth in the middle and hell downstairs. And, I do
not have a negative reaction to scientific advances. But
I am fully convinced that our landing on the moon and
space probing represents man's secret desire to "be as
gods." Our space program is not based on a desire to
get nearer to God, but an attempt to prove man's intel-
lectual superiority over religious superstition.
There may be many godly people involved in the
space program, but they do not set the policy nor do
they fully understand the implications of what they are
involved in.
Billions of dollars have been spent to invade the uni-
verse while millions suffer and die of starvation here on
earth. Don't tell me God will allow this to go unan-
swered. The commandment of God to all men was to go
to the poor and needy. The commandment has been
broken, and that in itself is enough to bring God's anger
to a flash point.
It would have been more accurate for Commander
Armstrong to announce to the world, "One giant step
toward judgment."
The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee,
thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose
