human beings have been caged. Thus the very concept of numerous religions, is in itself,
the biggest hoax. Hence, only when people belonging to these religions commence

preaching the principles of the universal religion, as stated above, would they be able to
completely wipe out the root causes of strife, quarrel, hatred and mutual disdain. They

can thus march towards bringing about peace and happiness for the human race.

Wisdom-The Essence of Religion
As already stated, an important point that needs to be emphasized in the context

of universal religion is that, just as there is only one vast ocean for the human race
which has been given various names like Arabian Sea or Indian Ocean etc. depending

upon its proximity with the adjoining land mass, similarly there is only one universal
religion for the entire human race. However there are several religions prevailing in the

world which have cropped up and have received different names only on the basis of
different social and religious customs, manners and rituals. For example, some people

offer prayers in churches, some offer Namaz in mosques, while others offer prayers in
temples and Gurudwaras. All these prayers are basically pious sentiments being

expressed by different people towards the Cosmic Life Force or God according to their
own choice and liking. However, these practices later on took a different turn and

subsequently got transformed into various types of social and religious customs and
rituals in the context of which different religions have come into existence. As a matter of

fact, these religious customs and rituals are entirely personal and individual in nature and
hence they do not bear any relationship whatsoever with the true religion. Therefore,

these so called religions can never be designated as true religion. At best they can be
considered as different cults of one true universal religion as mentioned earlier.

JEEVANVIDYA postulates another important doctrine which states that,
"Wisdom is the soul of true religion which can shape and build a happy, graceful,

decent and healthy human society. If wisdom is deleted from the concept of religion, all
that remains is nothing but the ashes of religion in the form of barren rites and rituals.''

It is therefore high time that Man must realise that the so-called Satan is nothing
but ignorance incarnate, which is responsible in every way for all sorts of calamities,

worries, miseries and sufferings, he has to face in his life. On the contrary, God is
nothing but Wisdom incarnate, which is the very source of all sorts of blessings, boons,

success and prosperity.
