bringing about good or evil, favourable or unfavourable consequences in the human
society. Hence, this law of action and reaction of the Cosmic Life Force, has been
constantly influencing Man's history. It is indeed unfortunate that Man has refused to
learn anything from this history. He has utterly failed to learn adequate lessons from this
tragic history to improve his lot. Human history is being built under the direct influence
of this basic universal law of action and reaction. Hence, keeping these universal laws of
Cosmic Life Force in mind, Man the only creature who has been bestowed with the unique
faculty of intelligence, must make use of this faculty to derive maximum benefits for
achieving welfare of the human race. Depending upon whether Man does a good or evil
turn to others, whether he bestows blessings or curses on others, whether he praises or
abuses others, whether he helps or hurts others, he will attract, sooner or later, towards
himself corresponding reactions according to the universal laws of the Cosmic Life Force,
for which there are absolutely no exceptions. Thus, right thinking and good actions
directed towards the betterment and happiness of the human society, on the firm
foundations of these universal laws of nature, can alone constitute the base of true
religion, a religion that will be universal. Hence JEEVANVIDYA states that,
"To live happily yourself and help others to live a happy life'', is the essence of true
universal religion."

of caste, creed, race or religion and sincerely endeavour to make each other happy. This
is the real adoration and worship of God, the true spirit of devotion and service to God,
as also the essence of true religion. In brief,
"Awakening the sense of humanity in Man'' is indeed the soul of true religion, the
heart of education and the most effective solution for all sorts of problems of the entire
human race."
Such a universal religion alone has the inherent potential of ensuring everlasting
welfare and well-being of the entire human race. All the existing so called religions are
thus the branches, or ought to be the branches of this universal religion, because the
basic inspiration behind every religion was always pure and directed primarily towards
the betterment and welfare of human race. However with the passage of time, the
control and propagation of these religions passed on to the blind followers and selfish
religious scholars, leaders and protagonists, who distorted the original true principles and
concepts of their religion, to give rise to narrow, parochial religious cults. Consequently,
all these religions in the world today are nothing but psychological prisons in which
