It is with great sadness we wish to inform you of the passing of our friend and colleague, Seán O Driscoll.
Seán was the coordinator of the Horticulture Project and the Local Training Initiative for 11 years. He
was a great part of our FRC, our community and was loved by all. He will be sadly missed.
The Local Training Initiative is currently running a QQI Level 5 Horticulture, which started in October
2019 and will run until October 2020.

The QQI level 5 in Horticulture covers the following modules;

 Plant Science,
 Soil Science
 Plant Propagation
 Plant Identification
 Plant Protection
 Work Experience
 Organic Growing
 Organic Principles and Standards

At the moment, due to covid19, learners are working from home where possible.
