AN ADJ\UNISTRATIVE REGULATION ESTABLISHING
FINANCIAL PROCEDURES FOR INTERNAL USE BY
ALL CITY OFF UNGTON DEPARTMENTS/DIVISIONS

SECTION I: Purpose

To establish clear and consistent guidelines pertaining to accounting and purchasing
procedures to be utilized by all using departments in a manner to achieve efficiency of internal
operations. These guidelines will be referred to as Financial Regulations as initiated by the
Administrative Services Department and will have their own section to be included in the
Employee Personnel Handbook.

SECTION II: Implementation

The Administrative Services Department will ensure that all employees will receive the
most current regulation updates along with the associated policy and procedures manuals. Each
manager and supervisor, through staff meetings and training, will facilitate the implementation of
using these procedures in a timely manner and as appropriate to their division(s). It will be the
responsibility of the Department/Division Head to designate employees as needed lo carry out the
requisite procedures.
These procedures will be periodically evaluated as to effectiveness and will be updated
