ARTICLE 5

CONVENTION

Section 1 Establishment of Convention

This Organization shall assemble in Convention each year in any city selected by members of
the Convention. The Convention will convene in the first full week of May as directed by the
Executive Board of the APFF.

For each Local to register delegates and participate at Convention, per capita special
assessments must be paid in full to the APFF Secretary-Treasurer for the previous 12 months
from the last convention.

Section 2 Representation

Each Arkansas Local of the IAFF that is a member of the Arkansas Professional Fire Fighters
shall have representation as follows:

231-300 ___________________________ 1 Vice Pres. + 7 Voting Delegates

Each Vice President and each delegate shall have one vote. No vote shall be cast by proxy. The
Secretary of each Local, after the election of the Vice President and delegate, shall notify the
Secretary of this Organization of the names of the delegates elected. He/she shall also notify
the Secretary of any alternate Vice President or delegate. All delegates must be approved by
their affiliates to be seated as delegates.
