Soror Shuntea S. Price
Soror Shuntea S. Price is currently employed with STEP, Inc. as the
Director of Urban Services for the West TN Region. Her career
encompasses the area of advocacy for parents of children/youth with
disabilities, special healthcare needs and mental health needs and
challenges. Shuntea is a native Memphian, born and raised in the historic
Orange Mound community. She attended Tennessee State University
immediately after high school and later received her BS degree in
Business Administration from Christian Brothers University. She also
holds Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts in Human
Resources Management degrees from Webster University. Shuntea was
initiated into Mu Epsilon Chapter at Christian Brothers University in
1993. She is also the proud and loving mother of two adult sons.
Soror Jaquai Porter
Soror Jaquia Porter is a 2005 initiate of Beta Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa
Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. Jaquia has been teaching Science and
coaching different girl sports (volleyball, basketball, and softball) for 11
years at the middle school level. She holds a Bachelor’s of
Science/Biology Degree from Le-Moyne Owen College, a Master’s Degree
in Education from Union University, and an Educational Specialist
Degree in Leadership and Instruction from Liberty University. She is a
proud mother of three lovely children (1 son, Cordarius and 2 daughters,
Kalyani and Ariyah). Jaquia looks forward to giving unwavering
contribution to the group.
