DISABILITY PLANS
An unexpected injury or illness that keeps you out of work for a long time can have a devastating impact on your income, jeopardizing your
ability to cover normal household expenses. Nearly 50% of all foreclosures are the result of a disability. The right disability insurance, can
protect your income, relieving you of the anxiety of depleting your savings to pay your bills.
Short-Term Disability
Short-Term Disability (STD) coverage is designed to replace a portion of your earnings if you are unable to work due to a non-work related
short-term illness or injury.
AAG will provide all eligible employees who have satisfied a 6 month waiting period a company-paid STD plan. The weekly benefit is 60%
of your base earnings to a maximum of $1,000. The benefit begin after the 14th day and will continue for up to 24 weeks.
Long-Term Disability
AAG will provide all eligible employees, who have completed 12 months of continuous employment, Core Long-Term Disability coverage
through Cigna. Employees will also have the opportunity to buy up on the coverage paid for by AAG.
Should you experience a serious illness or injury that prevents you from working for an extended period of time, Long-Term Disability (LTD)
insurance provides financial protection. Please refer to plan documents for details, including important coverage exclusions and limitations.
