3. Time
Unit Overview
Before the age of 5, children should be familiar with the following vocabulary:
yesterday, today, tomorrow, morning, lunch, evening, earlier, and now. For
understanding this unit, have the students relate their everyday activities to the
time of day and guide them to understand the flow of time by teaching to read
a clock, differentiate between early and late, and expressing the activities
done using the terms; yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Students will develop
the concept of time and be able to relate time to their everyday lives.

The pictures can be arranged according to the flow of time. Clocks can be read by looking at the numbers pointed at by
the short hand and long hand.
