9.1.2 BUILDING PERIMETER
The Building perimeter is the first line of defense and protection for this facility. All perimeter doors shall be equipped with a door
status contacts (DC). The DC will notify security when a door is opened outside of its allowable period.
IP – Video Surveillance system shall provide viewing of the interior and exterior perimeter of entrances/exits of the buildings.
This will allow security to monitor the area and provide additional documentation as to who is entering and exiting the facility and
        when.
Access Control shall be located on all entry doors of buildings that allow employee and/or tenant access. This will allow security to
know who entered when, by providing an audit trail of all card transactions and visual verification the card was utilized by the
        person authorized.
Intrusion detection will provide after-hours monitoring of the interior and perimeter areas of the building from the monitoring
        locations.

        9.1.3 BUILDING INTERIORS
The buildings interiors will have motion detection, IP – Video Surveillance and Access control points. These components of the
security system will allow persons only to access the areas, during periods they are authorized.
Areas considered for controlled access include, but not limited to:
            • Building Operations Center (Administration areas)

o Changing mechanical locks cylinders due to lost keys, employee turnover and unauthorized copying of keys.
o Where access is required by different authorized users at different times.
IP – Video Surveillance will provide video surveillance for specific areas. These areas will include, but not limited to:
            • All sensitive areas
            • Stairways that exit to the outside

            • Entrances
            • Perimeter
            • Loading, unloading areas
            • Special Areas
            • Parking

            • Elevators
            • Other locations as required
The access control “Smart” credentials will have embedded RFID chips
