BRISTOL – Newfound Re- gional High School Principal Paul Hoiriis is pleased to announce that Isabel Braley, salutatorian, and Lauren Paige and Evan Foster, co-valedictorians, are this year’s top students in the Class of 2024.
“These three are more than just a number with a decimal point after their name (for Grade Point Rankings). They’ve had a real im- pact on the community,” he said.
Isabel Braley of Alexandria earned her Salutatorian honors for many reasons. She is a four-year, three-sport athlete who competed in Varsity Soccer and served as this year’s team captain. She also par- ticipated in Track and Field as a runner, jumper, discus thrower, and shot put thrower. Over the winter months, she also played on the Uni-

Run Your Buns Off Check Presentation

BRISTOL – On Thursday, May 9, the Newfound Area Charitable Fund, which holds the annual Run Your Buns Off race each Labor Day week- end, was pleased to present checks totaling $9,000 to six area non-profit organizations.
Each year the fund reviews requests for donations from many local non-profits and selects those they would like to support that year through money made through the 4.2- mile run/walk.
“Having the financial means to assist other incred- ible organizations and their programs brings us such joy,” said Audrey Goudie of NACF.
For the past five years, they have also generously donated to the New Hampshire Food Bank, which comes to the Newfound Region in Febru- ary to distribute free food to the community.

Hidden Battles Foundation, accepted a check for $1,000 from NACF. The funds will be used in their mission to pre- vent veteran suicides.
