Scott Weden is Pleased to Now Be Serving Plymouth as Town Manager

On November 1, Scott Weden officially began his lat- est career as the Town Man- ager for Plymouth, and it’s a role he has stepped into with enthusiasm and a bright out- look for the community he has called home for many years.
Weden is no stranger to public service, having spent 40 years working in the arena of local government. Born and raised in Ashland, he spent 14 years with Holderness Police Department, serving first as an officer, then as a sergeant, and finally as Chief of Police. He was also on the Ashland Fire Department, where he became their chief, served on the town’s Board of Selectmen, and was a member of their Budget Com- mittee.
When he decided to re- tire from his career in emer- gency services, he moved on to work for 28 years in Risk

December was certainly a fun month for the people of Newfound! Newfound is a com- munity that truly knows how to come together around the holidays and have all the fun in the world. The Tapply Thomp- son Community Center is no stranger to the fun they provided in December, and hearing about how all the events went told me that it was a magical experience for everyone involved.
For the TTCC’s One Stop Christmas Shop, Assistant Di- rector, Dan MacLean, told me that they “had hundreds of kids come in to do their Christmas shopping. Many teen council volunteers helped the children go through the shop to ensure they got something for everyone on

obtaining the proper property, casualty, and medical coverage, along with working as a munic- ipal consultant for town, city, school, and county government
operations throughout New Hampshire.
