Internationally renowned psychiatrist, Viktor E. Frankl,
endured years of unspeakable horror in Nazi death camps.
Despite witnessing and suffering the extremes of human
cruelty, on his release from Auschwitz, he was determined
he would come through it and share with the world his
thoughts on meaning, resilience and his conviction that
every crisis contains opportunity.
Frankl's words resonate as strongly today as they did in
1946. Despite the unspeakable horrors in the camp, he
learnt from his fellow inmates that it is always possible to
say ‘yes to life’ – a profound and timeless lesson for us all.
Frankl's universal lessons for coping with suffering and
finding one's purpose in life offer an unforgettable message
for those seeking solace, inspiration and guidance.
Today the suffering we face is the Coronavirus. Unlike the
atrocities of WWII, it is expected to be defeated in a matter
of months.
Take heart, we will win this battle too.
