Ideal teacher needed for the school
The notion of an ideal teacher is an individualised discernment which is usually centred around
one’s teaching philosophy and the context in which the teachers are exposed to. These two
factors interchangeably play a role in shaping one’s unique educational craft. However, team
work also plays an integral role in further developing one’s beliefs and dispositions.
The collated ideas from the group discussions and video were centred around five common
ideas of an ‘ideal’ teacher in a school like Northcliff high. The facets to this presentation will
be broken down into the following sections:
