SPEEDOMETER: FXSTD

Remove instrument console. See See Figure 8-82. Remove wiring for indicator lamps from cable straps (2) on back of speedometer. Detach speedometer connector (3) [39]. Disengage retention clips (1) holding speedometer back clamp to instrument console. See Figure 8-83. Disengage clips (1) to free speedome- ter from back clamp (2). Remove seal (3). See Figure 8-83. Secure the speedometer inside back clamp (2) using clips (1). Install seal (3). See Figure 8-82. Secure the speedometer back clamp to instrument console using retention clips (1). Fasten wiring with cable straps (2). Attach speedometer connector (3) [39]. Install instrum
