5.2.2 DDR18V Fail
Signal Explanation:
DDR18V (DDR2) or DDR15 (DDR3) is the working voltage for memory.
The voltage unstable or not correct would cause post C1 or other error code.
Repair steps for DDR18V fail: (refer the schematic in the next page for location
measuring)
01. Clear CMOS for over voltage issue first.
02. Check working voltage.
03. Check input voltage.
04. Check EN signal.
05. Check the impedance and circuit for Q39, Q42.
06. Isolate over voltage circuit.
07. Check FB circuit.
08. DDR18V voltage short issue check and repair.
(Remove the component which connects to DDR18V one by one.)
If DDR18V is no voltage output, check the step2, 3, 4, 5, 7and 8.
If DDR18V voltage not correct, check the step1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
