5.1.1 FF/00 Cause by -CPURST
Example: Intel
945GCMX-S2 6.6 identified by:
01. –CPURST is no action.
02. DMI bus, Voltage and clock for NB are ok.
03. PWROK1 and –PFMRST correct.
04. Swap 945GC ok.
Signal Explanation:
CPU Reset: this signal is an output from (G) MCH. The (G) MCH asserts CPURST#
while RSTIN# is asserted and for approximately 1ms after RSTIN# is de-asserted.
CPURST# allows the processors to begin execution in a known state.
Repairing Notes:
-CPURST will output after NB is ready. Confirm voltage and clock in to NB first.
Then, make sure PWROK and PFMRST to NB is Correct.
