to Albert and Estella Walt. I

had another sister born June 21,
1895, Blanche, and also anoth-

er sister came in 1900, February 22,

Hazel. About the first thing I can re-
member is we three little girls playing

together. I can still see Hazel sitting on

the door step with her cup of milk –
she always drank it so slow.

One day Blanche and I were playing

around some machinery and I fell and
cut my forehead quite badly.

Eva was born in the Adrian Township of Jackson County, Kansas. The parcels near the
center of the map marked G. W. Shields were her paternal grandfather’s, and the lot to
the east marked A. M. Walt was her father’s.
