4. Missing Records
No record in the Time and Attendance system and no record of approved leave or business trip for a
particular day will be considered an absence without pay or deducted from the annual leave record.
5. Absence / Late notification
If for any reason an employee is not able to attend the office on the specified time, then he/she should
notify his/her direct supervisor by phone to explain why the employee is not able to attend the office
on time and the expected time of arrival to the office. Once the employee arrives at office, the
employee's arrival must be officially notified to the direct supervisor and HR department via email.
6. Time and Attendance Monthly Reports
HR department will generate reports from the Time and Attendance system monthly and will share
the relevant report with each Head of Department. The Head of Department will communicate with
his/her team members to confirm the team's attendance records. The results of this consultation will
be used to calculate the employee's monthly salary.
7. Habitual violations
HR department will regularly monitor habitual cases of missing attendance records, late check-ins, and
early check-outs. Such cases will be reported to the management and appropriate disciplinary action
will be taken.
8. Ramadan Work Time:
In line with UAE Labour Law, during the Holy month of Ramadan, the working hours of all
employees will be reduced by two hours per day. This means that employees should only work 6 hours
per day (excluding lunch time) as the statutory maximum working hours are 8 hours per day.
9. Disciplinary Matters:
Within the framework set out in the UAE Labour Law, the Company may take disciplinary actions
for repeated violations of Working Hours and Time Management policy.
10. Client Meetings Log Sheets
An employee who is not present in the office because of client meetings, presentations etc. should fill
the client meeting log sheet at the reception when leaving the office and upon his/her return stating
the nature of the meeting, name of client and time. This is a control sheet, that will also help in
analyzing clients’ visits on monthly basis.
11. Working during Weekends
An employee who is requested by his/her manager to work on weekends will be able to redeem those
days as per the following:
- Department Head/Manager should send an email to HR stating that the employee was requested to
work on a weekend;
