Work from home Policy and Procedures
1. POLICY
Ipsos MENA provides its employees the work from home policy, on exceptional bases, it is created with
the aim of achieving a greater efficiency, being employer of choice, providing a healthy environment and
attracting and retaining employees.
2. SCOPE
This policy and procedure applies to all eligible employees of Ipsos MENA, if the job can be executed
from home. This policy will allow Business Unit Heads to consider the appropriateness of home
working and implement it where there are demonstrable and significant benefits to the Company and
its employees. It will allow the eligible employees to work two (2) days per month from home for those
who completed their probation, provided that the work can be done remotely. Working from home
is occasional and has to be a valid and justifiable reason for that; employees can work at
home on an ad-hoc basis. This policy is a discretionary work arrangement and not an
entitlement. The Ipsos MENA Management holds the right to modify or end this policy at
any time.
3. ACCOUNTABILITY
3.1. The Direct Managers are accountable for ensuring the employees reporting to them and correctly
use their work from home as provided in this policy and procedure.
3.2. The Direct Managers will determine which posts are suitable for home working and will have the
responsibility for approving home working arrangements.
3.3. The Direct Managers are accountable for ensuring that accurate records of their employee’s work
from home, and that all work from home is reported to Human Resources and/or Admin.
3.4. Human Resources and/or Admin are accountable for providing reports to Direct Managers of
the current status of their employees’ work from home and to ensure that the policy terms are
respected and well applied.
3.5. The Country Head should always be informed when an employee request to work from home
and can overwrite and disapprove the work from request.
