P. 101
At that time, Jesus prayed I thank you oh my Father Lord of heaven and earth
because you have hidden these things from the wise and the men of
understanding. You have revealed them to children oh yes, my Father such is
your will. Everything has been delivered to me by my Father. No man knows the
Son except the Father nor does any man know the Father except the Son and he
to whom the Son wishes to reveal him. Heaven and earth will pass away. My
words will not pass away.
Multitude Fed before the Passover
When he had finished teaching those who were sick and in need of healing were
all healed. The day began to wane and it was getting late his apostils came up
and said to him dismiss the multitudes it is getting late. So that they may go away
to the farms, villages and cities to lodge there buy bread and nourishment for
themselves. This is a lonely desert place and they have nothing to eat. Jesus
said to them it is not necessary for them to go. You give them something to eat.
He said to Philip where can we buy bread that all these may eat? He said this
merely to awaken him. He knew what he would do. Philip said two hundred

fish and he looked up to heaven and blessed them. Then he broke them and
gave them to the apostils to distribute to those who were setting down as much

up the broken pieces which are left over so that nothing is lost. They gathered up
the broken pieces which were left over from the five barley loaves and two fish.
They filled twelve baskets. The men who saw and experienced the miracle which
Jesus performed said truly this is the prophet who is to come into the world.
Jesus knew that they were ready to come and seize him to make him a king.
Straightway he urged his apostils and followers to go to the crossing place and
get in the boats to go in advance of him to the Port of Capernaum while he
dismissed the multitude. When he dismissed the multitude, he went up into the
mountain alone to pray. The followers reached the crossing palace and went up
into the boats and left for Capernaum.
Walking on Water
When evening came, the boats were in the midst of the sea and Jesus was alone
on the land in the mountain. In the fourth watch of the night Jesus came down
the mountain and stood on the shore by the sea. He saw them struggling as they
were rowing for a strong wind was blowing against them and the boats were
