P. 28
Jesus said oh generation of false teachers how can you speak good things when
you are bad? The mouth speaks from the fullness of the heart. A righteous man
brings out righteous issues from the beneficial treasures of his heart. An evil
man brings out evil issues from corrupt treasures of his heart. I say to you that for
every foolish word which men speak they will have to answer for it on the Day of
Judgment. By your words, you shall be justified and by your words you shall be
found guilty.
The LORD will cut off from Jerusalem head and tail, tail and head in one day.
The elder and honorable he is the head. The false teachers who teach lies they
are the tail. The leaders of this people shall cause them to err and cause them to
sink low. Therefore, the LORD shall have no joy in their young men neither shall
he have mercy on their orphans and widows. They are all hypocrites, evildoers
and every mouth speaks folly.
Customs of Aged Men
The Pharisees and scribes along with some of the Jewish elders saw some of his
disciples eating bread with their hands not rinsed and berated them. Now the
Pharisees, scribes and all the Jews unless they rinsed their hands and those
items purchased to eat from the local grocery would not eat. They heeded and
practice many other customs of the Elders like washing of pots, cups and
utensils.
The Pharisees said to Jesus my Lord why do your followers ignore the customs
of the elders and eat bread without rinsing their hands.
Jesus said why do you call me Lord and do not do what I teach?
He said, it is written in the book of Isaiah who prophesied of you role players.
This people honor me with their talk and revere me fruitless when they instruct
their school of thought which are the activities of aged men (elders). You do
seediness to the Word of God so as to continue your customs and make null and
void the Word of God. Then he addressed the people and said I do not express
myself. My Father instructed me what to say and what to express. Perceive and
realize there is naught external of man when it enters the mouth assaults him. It
is what comes out of the mouth that is what causes him to transgress.
Woe, Pain, Distress You Hypocrites
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, Deceivers! You have shut off the kingdom of
heaven against men. You do not enter into it yourselves and do not permit those
who would to enter.
Pain to you scribes and Pharisees, Dissimulators! You have taken away the
keys of knowledge. You did not enter and those who were entering you hindered.
