P. 24
Woe to the world because of offences! Offences will come but woe to him by
whose hand they come!
Abraham
When John the Baptist saw a great many of the priests of the Pharisees and
Sadducees coming to be baptized, he said to them oh offspring of deceivers,
who has warned you to head for the woods from the wrath which is coming. You
issue results which are worthy of atonement and do not believe. Do not
conceptualize within you yourselves, Abraham as our Father. I say to you that
God will rise up Sons of God to him from these stones.
The axe is already fixed at the root of the trees; therefore, every tree which issue
evil results will be cut down, dried and laid in the fire.
The Pharisees answered saying to him our own father is Abraham. Jesus said to
them, if you were the sons of Abraham you would be doing the works of

You are from the father of accusation. You do the works and lusts of your father.
He who is a murderer of men from the very beginning and who never stands by

God. These truths Abraham did not hear. Jesus said to them if I honor myself my
honor is nothing. It is my Father who honors me the one of whom you say He is
our God. You have not known him. I know him and if I should say I do not know
him I would be a liar like you. I do know him and I obey his word.
They said to him are you greater than our father Abraham who died and the
prophets who died? Whom do you make yourself? Your father Abraham rejoiced
to see my day. The Jews said to him you are not fifty years old. Have you seen
Abraham? Jesus said to them before Abraham was born I was. They wanted to
stone him but his followers gathered around him. Jesus stood in the midst of his
temple and they left grumbling not knowing what to do with him.
David
While in the Temple the Pharisees gathered around him. Jesus asked them
saying as he taught in the temple. The scribes say concerning the Christ that he
is son of David. What do you say concerning the Christ? Whose son, is he? They
