Page 4 - Edwards Cleaning Covid 19 Risk Assessment for Staff_Neat
P. 4
All staff should follow and remain update with the latest advice given
by the Government and NHS England. This can be found at,
https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
We understand that the situation can cause worry and anxiety and we’ve
looked at the best and innovative ways of working and protecting staff
and clients. Some customers have been working through since the
Government announced the ‘lockdown’ on the 23rd March, especially in
the medical and factory businesses and therefore we’ve had to adapt
and change the way we work.
Those returning to work as the clients re-open will be concerned about
what they’ll find, what’s different and want to know what the risks are.
This booklet will go some way to answering those questions and guide
you to the information you’ll need in preparation for a return.
As a business, we’ve not come across a situation like this before and
we’ve had to take instruction from the Government, NHS England and
also from the customers, working together to ensure the safety of
everyone concerned. What we’ve done and how we continue to prevent
cross infection of Covid19 will also be explained in this booklet.
You may have seen on our website or on our Facebook page that we’ve
been doing a lot of deep cleans and treating buildings with innovative
systems to stop the virus. The staff doing it have been amazing and
we’ve been able to get medical centres re-opened and factories working
again within hours of a Covid19 scare. We’re now hoping as cases fall
and that there’s no ‘second wave’ of the virus, the new normal will begin.
