Shame	   



                                                             Whatever	   is	   begun	   in	   anger,	   ends	   in	   shame.

                                                    shame	   as,	   “the	   intensely	   painful	   feeling	   that	   we	   are	   unworthy	   of	   

                                                    love	   and	   belonging.”	   Shame	   exacerbates	   many	   other	   negaAve	   
                                                    emoAons,	   and	   thrives	   on	   secrecy	   and	   feeling	   alone.	   Not	   

                                                    surprisingly,	   shame	   is	   healed	   by	   disclosure	   and	   empathy.
